Great ad and concept. Just because a local has political aspirations it doesn't mean I should vote for him, read " The Peter Principle" for a better understanding of what happens when you promote someone to the level of incompetency!

Stop Obama? From what? Governing the country? Check. The Party of NO has indeed stopped Obama (and everyone else, including Congress) from governing anything. Then, Republicans planned first act if they win the House? Subpoenas. This is Republicans and their concept of governing. Do nothing and issue subpoenas.

In total agreement with you.

Then, Republicans planned first act if they win the House? Subpoenas. The Rupublicans are not funded by the trial attorneys!! Behind unions they are the second leading contributor to the Democratic party and have been for at least the last 20 years. Tort Reform is something I have never heard a Democrat say. "The party of No" Term just gets under my skin. I do not bleed Republican but neither do I believe in the democratic cause. But lets be real if the Democrats are united in both houses they could push through anything they wanted. Period end of story. With the Democrats united it really doesn't matter whether the republicans vote at all. The tides are changing and after the November elections you can then call them the party of No.

The GOP is immoral to the core; reactionary vile racist bigots. THAT was yesterday's GOP and it is today's GOP. LIE, STEAL, CHEAT, etc. whatever it takes to win an election!
by propitiation October 7, 2010 2:36 PM EDT
Yes, the GOP is looking for a Hicky or two - Urban Dictionary - A form of love bite. A bruise raised on the body of a sexual partner by very hard kissing / biting / sucking. Normally found on the necks of adolescent girls. You've got a hicky on your neck, who you been with you little tart IMMORAL to the core!

You obviously missed Republican Darrell Issa saying that if Repubs win the House, he, as chair of the Oversight Committee, already has investigators lined up to start issue subpoenas on the Obama administration. Obama made a huge mistake not going after Bush admin officials. Obama thought he would take the high road and look forward, not back and let Repubs off the hook. But of course, Repubs won't extend Obama the same courtesy. Typical. Obama extends the hand of friendship towards Repubs and the Repubs slap it away - and then blame him for the division in the country.

The Obama regime can pay several trolls to say on the major news blogs, 24 hours a day. It's not going to help. The American people can see what the Obama regime has done to America. The American people will speak in November.

Sorry but two years does not a regime make. Now 8 years of Bush did make a regime and we all know what happened in that amount of time. The economy was in the toilet and the country in a down slide. When Obama took over you expect a miracle cure in less than 2 years? Get real!
by mswolfestock October 7, 2010 1:58 PM EDT
Seems like you've forgotten that the Party of NO has made sure that Obama's hands are tied. They have tied his hands and now they are trying to blame him for it. The Party of NO has brought this country to a stand still.
by TheKnowerseeker October 7, 2010 3:25 PM EDT
mswolfestock, there haven't been enough Republicans in congress to completely block anything. They have had help from a minority of Democrats who aren't sticking with the rest of the party on issues of economy. The lack of cohesion among the Democrats is the biggest reason I'm so disillusioned with them now.

The Republican elites are looking for some hicks to trick other hicks into believing that Dems are the elites. It works every time.

Wait a second here both parties are run by elites. Lets use as an example two of the most famous progressives. Both of the Roosevelts!! You are telling me they were not Elites. Franklin even considered himself an Aristocrat!!
by BradNoley October 7, 2010 1:13 PM EDT
Hey West Virginia Republican Supporter. The rest of america is laughing at you, not with you. The GOP is (excuse me "iz") looking for "Hicky" folk to complain (excuse me..."belly ache") 'bout that city slickin' feller they call the prez' fancy new plan. We'll just put on some overalls and some big mean dirty truckin' hats hats down yonder at diner on the main highway at the county line. YeHaw! Holy Cow! No wonder the National Chapter GOP is trying to deny having any involvement with this casting call. And you want to vote for these morons. This ignorant sterotype should seal WV's governor hope to win the senate seat.
